Summer Volunteering
posted May 2010
Even though the temperatures are rising, we are going to be hard at work helping families realize the dream of homeownership. While many of the houses throughout the Valley are wrapping up, we will be starting renovation projects in the coming months. If you are interested in helping over the summer, please contact Volunteer Services by email by clicking here.
Site Host Training
posted May 2010
Are you a morning person? Do you like meeting new people? If so, we have the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. We are looking for Site Hosts for our upcoming construction projects.
Site Hosts greet volunteers, collect waivers, issue name tags and ensure that volunteers sign in when they arrive on the construction site. This is a Saturday morning position and site hosts are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to the other volunteers and are asked to stay for at least two hours.
Site Hosts should be friendly, have excellent communication skills, be punctual and dependable. This position is open to volunteers over the age of 16 who can make a commitment to at least half of the build schedule.
HFHCAZ will be holding a training on May 15th at 10:30 a.m. at our Phoenix office located at 115 E. Watkins. If you are interested in signing up, or have any questions, please contact Angie Taylor, Volunteer and Community Support Manager at 602.262.8655 or email by clicking here.
